Grant update from Partners for Children South LA

With SAM's $60,000 grant in 2025, Partners for Children South LA provided critical emergency assistance and wraparound services to 78 families—exceeding their original goal and stabilizing households during a year of heightened economic uncertainty.

Funding helped prevent housing and food crises, including during a SNAP interruption, while connecting families to mental health care, childcare, employment support, and long-term housing pathways.

The investment also strengthened PCSLA’s internal capacity by prioritizing staff wellness and professional development through its Love Fund. Beyond the grant period, this partnership sparked new relationships and additional funding opportunities, extending the impact well beyond the grant.
