Piece by Piece Site Visit

SAM members and our collaborative partner KISS had the incredible opportunity to tour Piece by Piece. Piece by Piece is a social enterprise that provides individuals who have faced economic insecurity or experienced homelessness with an opportunity to work, creating mosaic masterpieces, big and small. Some of these individuals have continued on to become certified mosaic artists and earn an income by creating commissioned pieces.

The women had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a class and created beautiful picture frames. Thank you to Piece by Piece (past SAM grant recipient) and especially to Founder and SAM member, Sophie Alpert for curating a really special event.
