Palisades-Altadena Collective Exhibit

SAM members and friends from KISS (Kehillat Israeli’s Sisterhood) had the opportunity to attend the engaging exhibition Rebuilding Memory: The Dioramas of Palisades. Curated by Palisades teen Luca Dal Bello, the show grew out of the Pali-Altadena Collective, a community-based art and memory initiative he founded in response to the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. Inspired by a desire to support his community and honor his Japanese heritage, Luca invited renowned Japanese artists to craft miniature dioramas of beloved Palisades landmarks lost in the fires. It was a meaningful close to SAM’s 2026 cycle!
