American Red Cross

Women Veterans have a particularly challenging transition back into society, they typically deal with higher levels of unemployment, abuse and isolation. The American Red Cross - Los Angeles region has been able to provide a bridge to those women, connecting them with their benefits, supportive services, food cards and employment assistance.
Angel City Sports
Angel City Sports is leading the Paralympic Sports movement in Southern California, creating sports opportunities for anyone with a physical disability. They offer a year-round schedule of introductory adaptive sport clinics as well as the annual Angel City Games, with sport clinics and competitions including archery, swimming, wheelchair basketball and more. They are also building an inventory of adaptive sports equipment to be loaned or rented.
Saving Innocence’s vision is to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children and restore the cultural values of innocence and human worth. They rescue and restore child victims of sex trafficking through strategic partnerships with local law enforcement, social service providers, and schools, while mobilizing communities to prevent abuse and increase neighborhood safety.
The Ulmer Institute
The Ulmer Institute is a leader in addressing urban psychological trauma through a unique methodology developed in Israel. Its mission includes education, training, psychological trauma research, and providing mental health services and treatment. During Dr. Ulmer’s four decades of ministry, much of his work has focused on healing the community and bringing together diverse leaders of L.A. to address social challenges and begin to reverse traumas that afflict his community, particularly children and youth.
